Stürgis's Favörite Täpes Päge

All right, so I like old music. The fact is, my dad gave me a bag of his casettes and I listened to them all the time when I was growing up because I didn't have anything else. Also, the fact is, they are good and I like them.

Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin IV

I don't think it's any secret that this is the best album ever. Did you know "The Battle of Evermore" is about The Lord of the Rings? It's also my favorite song.

The Cult: Electric

This album would be in my top 10 anyway, but maybe not number 2. But my dad's two favorite songs are on it -- "Outlaw," which was his pitching theme song, and "Born to be Wild," which he says is just as good as the original version.

Guns & Roses: Appetite for Destruction

I cannot tell you how much this album completely rocks. From start to finish, it just totally rocks. My grandma is completely convinced it's the work of the devil. (It isn't really.)

AC/DC: Back in Black

This is the second-best selling album of all time. Nuff said.

Motörhead: No Remorse

When a guy is a little torked off about something and really needs to work it out, this is the one to listen to. All speed and anger. Songs with names like "Killed by Death," and "Dancing on Your Grave." Thanks to Roy for showing me how to put the dots on the ö.

Van Halen: Diver Down

All right, I had a hard time picking a Van Halen album because they're all good, but none of them really stands out as the best. I picked this one because sometimes I sing "Pretty Woman" to my girlfriend and it makes her crack up.

Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet

This has that outlaw cowboy song everyone loves, and a lot of other good songs.

Ratt: Out of the Cellar

Roy laughed at this one because of the picture of the band on the inside cover, but when I played it for him he admitted they kind of rock. They had two lead guitarists. How cool is that?

Lynyrd Skynnard: Gold & Platinum

I don't just listen to hard rock. I love this album, for example.

Joe Walsh: The Smoker You Drink the Player You Get.

I put this one on here mostly because of the title. I don't know what it means but it's funny. It is good music, though. Really good guitar and funny lyrics.
